1. Which application area is NanoVit® intended for?
NanoVit® can be mixed with every crude oil raffinate as well as with oils, grease or artificial lubricants etc. The utilization mixture must be specially defined for each one. NanoVit® causes a system-comptabile friction redcution and improves the wear protection of all composite engines or metallic working processes with metal friction surfaces.
 
2. Is there any damage that could happen with NanoVit®?
No, NanoVit® does not change the recipe or the formula of the lubricants and it does not have damaging matters. The active components of NanoVit® are modified, amorphous Silicon dioxide (SiO2), modified, amorphous Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and plasma treated graphite (C). NanoVit® ensures a friction reduction and is applicable where friction should be reduced.
 
3. Are there any highlights for gears or bikes with a wet clutch?
Yes, within gears you have to bear in mind the following: - The used area is bigger than the of an engine; - The oil has to fulfill different pressure claims; - Do not change the sliding intervals; For manual gearboxes the classic oil GL4 85W90 is used, for automatic gearbox the gear oil ATF 75 W is used. In the case of bikes and wet clutch differentiate between: Art. 106 – Engine-Renovator (additive in 10W40) for all Bikes with mineral or synthetic engine oil of the viscosity level SAE 5W-... to 20W-50. A sliding clutch is not possible. Or: Art.112 – Gear-Renovator (addit. 85W90) for all Bikes with gear oil (universal joint housing or separated gear of the viscosity level SAE 70W... or above).
 
4. Is there any damage caused by using NanoVit® too often?
No, only bear in mind the volume limits of your application in terms of new oil. For Example: An engine with 40 L oil level gets 0.5 L NanoVit® – oil. Therewith neither the viscosity nor is the volume is changed significantly. However, if there is an existing gear oil level of 2 L and you pour in 1L NanoVit® - oil it changes the viscosity and the volume of the existing oil.
 
5. Why are NanoVit®-Products supplied in 250ml Bottles and 125ml Bottles?
The oil is a medium for the NanoVit® - Powder. Within the bottle are different concentrated volumes concerning the size and the oil level of the engine which has to be prepared. Another difference is the size of the flacon between an automobile and a truck product.
 
6. What do you mean by system-comptabile cleaning with NanoVit®?
As you can read in the product description NanoVit® performs system comptabile cleaning. This is due to the aluminum oxide. Supporting documents and references exist. (see test report of University St. Petersburg) A system-comptabile cleaning is on all metal surfaces without any damage. An Example: An engine within an automobile is a combustion engine. Combustion causes residues. These operating contaminations happen at the fuel and the oil circulation within an automobile. NanoVit® cleans these contaminations at the oil circle. The residues are in the oil filter. That means, as written in the product description, you have to change the oil filter at any rate. On the market are existing oil system-comptabile cleaner. Most of them have dissolver like alcohol. Too high a concentration of these products would cause a damage of the elastomers and gasket within the engine. This will not happen with NanoVit®.
 
7. Why does NanoVit need time to effect the engine operation?
NanoVit® needs temperature and pressure to affect. (see dissipative structures) The pressure and temperature which still exist within the aggregate are useful for this process. Bear in mind pressure and temperature will not be constant. Therefore you have to consider a specific time-frame, where NanoVit® forms a ball-shaped, elastic net structure. But a concrete time-frame cannot be defined for all utilizations. An Example: A craft has about 500 rpm that means NanoVit® effects after two months A truck has 2,000 rpm that means NanoVit® effects at approx. 700 – 1000 km operating performance; An automobile has 5,000 rpm that means NanoVit® effects at approx. 500 – 700 km operating performance; A bike has 12,000 rpm that means NanoVit® effects at approx. 300 – 500 km operating performance;
 
8. Could you explain the causality of NanoVit® between wear protection and reduce of fuel consumption?
In an automobile there are a lot of mechanical processes which produce friction. The important ones are engine, gear, differential, bearing shells and the fuel system. Friction causes an energy deficit. For fuel engines about 25% and for diesel engines about 35%. If the friction gets reduced, then it improves the indicated parameters of the composite engines. I.e. less friction, improving wear protection, less deficit of energy, a better operating performance = less fuel consumption.
 
9. Why do you suggest to use NanoVit® at the engine, the gear and the differential within a truck?
Basically a conveyance wants to decrease fuel consumption. But bear in mind that a truck has to transport tons of weight, the extra savings that can be made by treating these surfaces are worthwhile.
 
10. Is it possible to make an oil change while using NanoVit®?
Basically yes, but you have to concern of the following: On the first use: Set as well as Flacon of the oil level has to be poured in by the known guidelines. The oil filter is changed after 150 km. After you have made the oil change you have to drive 250 km. After the oil change you pour in the second set rather the flacon. Remarks: NanoVit® has a system-comptabile cleaning of all contaminations and separated at the oil filter. The older the oil and the bigger the journey was since the last oil change the more contaminations can be found in the oil filter. NanoVit® forms under pressure and temperature and therfore bear in mind the undefined time-frame. I.e. the more the operating performance (driven km) the better affects NanoVit® and forms on the sliding and friction areas an elastic surface. If the time-frame is too short as well as a too short operating performance, then at the first oil change some of the oil would get lost after the first utilization. If it is the right time-frame and a sufficient operating performance then the content of the flacon stays within the engine.
 
11. Are there any differences between long haul and short haul automobiles concerning the utilization? (*as well as on bio diesel automobiles)
Yes, short haul automobiles like busses, construction vehicles etc. drive at lower rpm and have an extreme high contamination compared to long haul automobiles. Approach as follows: - First Utilization of NanoVit® by the known guidelines; - After first utilization change the oil filter; - Proof possibility to measure compression - Second utilization; - After app. 200 km pour in the next flacon/set into to engine - If necessary clean the fuel system with fuel system-comptabile cleaner; - If necessary change the air filter; - Again a compression measurement of the cylinders; Why proving the compression ? The compression of an automobile gives a conclusion about the real operating performance. A worse compression means that the automobile does not have the real output and has a higher fuel consumption. Causes could be high contaminations within the fuel system and the oil circle as well as the friction of the cylinders and the piston torned;
 
12. Which difference can be seen between new automobiles and ones with a higher mileage by using NanoVit®?
The product description is NanoVit®- Renovator. Renovator means to renovate surfaces or to renew surfaces. Automobiles with a high operational performance (mileage) have a higher attrition on the friction surface than new automobiles. NanoVit® garauntees good results for operational improvement for automobiles from approx. 100,000 km and trucks from approx. 500,000 km. Experiences have shown that e.g. at EURO class 2 and 3 vehicles have a fuel savings of 15 % and for EURO class 5 vehicles have fuel savings of 7%. This is an interesting question. If you were to treat new engines with NanoVit you will see lower immediate operational efficiency gains, but conversely you will be protecting the engine from wear and combustion residue. this means that in the long term NanoVit will still save money through efficiency. There will be no performance loss over time due to attrition, as well as the savings on lubricant and maintenance.
 
13. Which test objectives are needed to measure the fuel consumption?
Automobile driver calculate as follows: - Full tank Example: - driven km – 561 km - refuelled 36.21L - 36.21 : 5.61 = 6.45L/100km consumption Truck drivers have to calculate in "tons-km". A console to measure the saturation value (TBN-value) of the oil; - FleetBoard – console are vehicle management tools to calculate the fuel consumption; - Compression and exhaust investigation – compare values before and after utilization; - Value of engine performance and rolling output;
 
14. Which wear protection does NanoVit® form?
The balance between closure and assembling (outer "elastic"-layer) starts at a distance of 1 to 1.5 µ between the friction surfaces and causes a lower friction coefficient. The gap between the friction surfaces is limited and may not bigger than 25 % of the construction elements size. The size of the micro layer is 0.0001 to 0.1 mm.
 
15. What makes NanoVit® unique compared to other products?
It is not possible to deal with every product on the market. Basically by making a choice of the possible products which guarantee a wear protection bear in mind the following: Attrition is a physical size and is not measurable. That means everyone who says they have a friction reducer or wear protection conditioner has to confirm attrition values by using the different standards/guidelines. For Germany it is DIN 51350 – 4 – ball-shaped apparat. Only after this you can compare the values. NanoVit is certainly unique in having TUV certification of its claims in this area.
 
16. Is it possible to mix NanoVit®- oil with other oils?
Basically all oils on a crude oil basis can be mixed up. IMPORTANT: The oils should have the same behaviour to save the functionalism. Problems could happen if you mix zincic with a non-zincic sort. IMPORTANT: The description of the producer should be noticed by making the choice. This is important for automobile with a new catalyst, because non-zincic oil sorts are used. 17. How can NanoVit® be separated from the friction surface?
NanoVit® does not affect with OH – groups or water based matters. To separate NanoVit® from the surface it is possible to use alcoholic cleaning products like an oil system-comptabile cleaner.
 
18. Is NanoVit® an additive?
Additive means add on. Every oil has add ons. On some high performance lubricants add-on could be as high as 30 %. NanoVit® is not an add on – it is an oil enhancement, which fits into Work equipment regulation 228.5. You can look it up in the safety data sheet.
